Transparency is the foundation of our couture relationship. We've outlined our terms to ensure your journey with EthosLume is as seamless as our tailoring.
When you engage with EthosLume for bespoke evening wear, you aren't just buying a dress; you're commissioning a work of art. This partnership requires mutual respect for the craft and the timelines involved.
Each garment begins with a rigorous design phase. We require a 50% non-refundable deposit before any fabric is cut or patterns are drafted. Why is this necessary? Because bespoke tailoring involves sourcing exclusive materials from global mills specifically for your silhouette.
Our team invests dozens of hours into the conceptual styling phase long before the first fitting. Don't worry, we'll walk you through every nuance of the cost breakdown during your initial consultation.
Our philosophical styling consultations are high-intensity sessions. We value your time, and we ask that you value ours. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a standard booking fee. We're sure you'll understand that these slots are in high demand across the UK.
A minimum of three fittings is standard for couture work. If you miss a scheduled fitting, we can't guarantee your delivery date. Precision takes time, and we won't rush a masterpiece.
All unique sketches and design prototypes generated by EthosLume remain the property of the atelier until the final garment is delivered and paid for in full.
Are you unsure about a specific clause regarding international shipping or material lead times? We believe in clarity over fine print. You'll always find our team ready to explain our processes at our B164 studio or via a quick call.
